Meet Dobbin

Tamsin’s Victorian rocking horse.

Tamsin’s great-grandfather bought Dobbin in 1929 for his son (my daughter’s grandfather) when he was one.  He bought it second-hand.  Can you imagine all the young children who played with this rocking horse, from late Victorian, Edwardian, World Wat War 1 and 2 children to my present little one?  Isn’t that amazing?  Let’s hope Dobbin lasts at least another century.
