Broken Toys

Do you throw them or fix them?

We fix them!  Err, the husband does…

Admittedly, we do indulge our little one when she wants something.  But only small toys, if she asks for a bigger one or more expensive one, we tell her to wait for special occasions like her birthday or christmas and this usually works.  To be fair, once T has something and she sees another version of that toy if you ask her if she wants it, she’ll say “But I have that one already“, even if that particular toy was just a freebie from a magazine and therefore, feeble – she won’t want another.

Update on Jessie:  The husband managed to attach Jessie’s head again.  But somehow our little two-year-old managed to break her leg this time  and this Jessie, isn’t a freebie either.  We got her from Amazon and she seemed really sturdy.  We have no idea how our little girl managed to break her for the second time.  The husband isn’t sure if he can fix her again. We are thinking of getting her a replacement Jessie – our daughter loves her.  She loves all the characters in Toy Story 1, 2 and 3 and can watch all three movies in one sitting.  As I’m typing this, she is watching number 3.

In other news, we have been under a very thick blanket of rain since yesterday.  In other parts of England, there is snow, blizzards and even flooding.  Whoopie-bloody-doo-dah.

What’s it like on your side of the world?

    • Poor Jessie indeed. We are already looking for a replacement Jessie -not sure if I want to get the same one from Amazon though.
